This is a Molteni&C project. Design Avenue did not work on it — we publish it because we represent Molteni&C in Georgia.

The development

Yongwei Shanghe Ju stands on the south bank of North Longhu in Zhengzhou, China, looking across to Financial Island.

It is made up of nineteen low-rise residences, set staggered against one another so that each keeps its privacy and frames the scenery beyond. Some look down a garden view as deep as 63 metres.

The architect is Raymond Lee, with landscape architecture by Chuang Chun-Kwong.

Molteni&C in the show residence

In the development's show house, Molteni&C carried out both the interior architecture and the furnishings.

From Gio Ponti come the D.154.2, D.154.5 and D.153.1 armchairs and the D.655.1 single unit. The Gliss Master wardrobe is by Vincent Van Duysen.

Rodolfo Dordoni's Devon sofa and Wish bed are here, along with Half a Square by Michael Anastassiades, the Woody chair by Francesco Meda, the Porta Volta armchair by Herzog & de Meuron and Ron Gilad's Panna Cotta coffee table.

At Design Avenue
