The hotel
The Conrad Athens The Ilisian stands above the city of Athens, with views across to the Acropolis.
The interiors are by AvroKO Studio. The hotel belongs to the Hilton group.
Natural materials, heavily veined marble and fine wood finishes run through the interiors. Light through the suites and the silhouette of the Acropolis are a constant presence in the rooms.
Gessi in the hotel
The bathrooms use Gessi's Inciso collection, designed by David Rockwell.
In the brand's own account, the collection's spare lines and precision of detail are set against the richness of the surfaces and the proportions of the rooms.
