Desert Pool Villas, Bab Al Shams

Bab Al Shams, United Arab Emirates

A Gessi project in the United Arab Emirates — desert villas, each opening onto its own pool.

This work was not designed or delivered by Design Avenue. It is published here in our role as Gessi's representative in Georgia.

This is a Gessi project. Design Avenue did not work on it — we publish it because we represent Gessi in Georgia.

The villas

The Desert Pool Villas are part of the Bab Al Shams resort, in the desert of the United Arab Emirates.

The design is by Delfina Design. The architecture takes its cue from the landscape: organic forms, spare lines, and a palette drawn from sand and light. Each villa opens onto a private pool.

Gessi in the bathrooms

The bathrooms use the Gessi316 collection in the Trame texture — woven stainless steel. The surface is worked in three dimensions, so that it reads as much by touch as by sight.

Gessi in the kitchen

In the kitchen stands the Fisso mixer, a spare form in steel set against the surfaces and the light of the desert.

At Design Avenue
