This work was not designed or delivered by Design Avenue. It is published here in our role as Molteni&C's representative in Georgia.

This is a Molteni&C project. Design Avenue did not work on it — we publish it because we represent Molteni&C in Georgia.

The house

The villa stands at 534 Chalette Drive, in the Trousdale Estates neighbourhood of Beverly Hills. It was first built in 1970 and has since been entirely remodelled.

Unlike the other projects published in this section, Molteni&C did not only supply furniture here. The brand carried out the interior architecture throughout the house — kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, utility room and common areas.

The interior architecture

The kitchen was made to measure: black matte lacquer with lava stone countertops, finished in bronze metal. The central island holds pull-out drawers and an integrated stone sink.

In the master bedroom are two separate walk-in closets, built in dark larix wood with piqué drawers, bronze metal fittings and transparent glass doors.

The master bathroom carries a 505 system in glossy anthracite, with dark brown leather shelving and glass sliding doors, its storage operated by remote control.

Molteni&C furniture

The Margou armchair and the Louisa coffee tables are by Vincent Van Duysen. The Devon stool is by Rodolfo Dordoni, and the 505 UP wall system by Nicola Gallizia.
