Bellhop Unplugged — Flos extends a portable classic outdoors
Flos has released a new edition of Bellhop Unplugged — IP54 rating, integrated dimmer and two new finishes.

Flos has released a new edition of Bellhop Unplugged, the portable lamp by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. The 2026 version is built for outdoor as well as indoor use.
What's new
- IP54 rating — resistant to dust and water splashes
- Integrated dimmer with three colour temperatures
- USB-C rechargeable, with a replaceable battery
- Two new finishes: Glossy Black and Glossy Green
A ring of LED light along the edge produces a soft, even glow.
Where Bellhop came from
Bellhop was designed in 2016 for the restaurant at the Design Museum in London, intended to cast diffused, glare-free light across tables. The name refers both to a hotel porter and to the lamp's bell-shaped silhouette. It became a series product in 2018.
The family has grown since: Bollard, Pole and Wall for gardens and pathways in 2020, Bellhop Floor in 2021, then Wall Up, and new finishes in 2022.
